The person behind Viva Dog Life
Training changed when I changed how I saw the dog.
Viva Dog Life grew from a simple conviction: lasting progress begins with respect for the dog in front of us.
A relationship before a result.
I came to dog training with a desire to help dogs and people live better together. The deeper I went, the more I understood that technique alone is never the whole answer. A dog is not a collection of behaviors to correct. A dog is an individual—with emotion, motivation, history, preferences, and a way of experiencing the world.
That realization changed the trajectory of my work. It pushed me to question assumptions, become a better observer, and place trust and communication at the center of every interaction.
Learning that transformed the work.
Becoming a Training Without Conflict® Certified Professional Trainer was both an achievement and a turning point. Learning from Ivan and Natalia Balabanov deepened my understanding of play, motivation, clarity, and the responsibility we carry when we teach another living being.
The result is not a promise of perfection. It is a commitment to remain curious, to meet the dog where they are, and to build training that is fair, meaningful, and alive.
What you can expect.
You can expect honest conversation, careful observation, and practical coaching. We will pay attention to your dog—and to the human side of the relationship—because lasting change asks both partners to learn.
- Your dog will be treated as an individual.
- You will understand the purpose behind the work.
- Training will connect to the life you actually share.
- Progress will matter more than performance for its own sake.
